May: Unused Water 2019-20

27 May 2020

Overview

The wet autumn has seen allocation prices in all zones tumble from $400+ to around $200/ML. While the Murray storages have seen some inflows they remain well down on the same time last year while in the Murrumbidgee they are slightly higher.

The following tables show the volume of allocated but undelivered allocation (unused water) available in Victoria and NSW. With only a small amount of usage remaining (estimated), the volumes being carried over are exceptionally high.
